Year in a Day Sneak Peak and Bliss

I love the Sale-a-Bration Bliss Set!! I know i say I love every set, I can't help it... They are all Fabulous! Back to the card details.

I stamped the pretty Filigree image on Crumb Cake Cardstock with my White Craft ink and set it aside to dry. Then I stamped the butterfly in Baja Breeze classic ink on vanilla cardstock, cut her out and added some Basic Pearls (119247) for her body. The DSP is is from the Occasions Mini and is FABULOUS! (did you hear me sing that?) It is called First Edition (121878) and is a lighter weight than normal DSP. It's also a great deal, 24 Sheets for $11.95! Before I added it to my crumb cake base I tore the edge
of my First Edition DSP and inked the torn edge with Baja ink. Next was the Baja Breeze Glass Glitter (121883) for a little bling. Easiest way to add the glass glitter is with Tombow glue (110755). I also used the new Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon (122331). To get the gathered detail just lay a strip of Stick strip (104294) down and press your ribbon into the sticky strip as your gather it. Oh so pretty!! For some final details I added a Clear Bitty Button (118761) on top of the ribbon with a Linen Thread Bow. (104199). Note: to make the button Stand out use the matching punch (118309) to punch a vanilla backing.
Let me know what you think of the card by leaving me a comment. I'll draw a name on Monday and send the winner the card. :)
At Stampin' Up! Leadership in January I saw several Scrapbook layouts using the Bliss set that I will defiantly be CASEing (Copy and Share Everything).

I have been busy, busy working on the pages for the upcoming Year in a day class. Here is a sneak peak at the Family page. For more details on the Year in a Day Scrap class click here.

Girls Valentine's Pouch, Blog candy winner, & Bingo Night Reminder

As promised here is the Valentine's pouch I made for the girls (sorry I'm late). They both looked very similar so I only took a picture of one. I used lots of yummy supplies for their pouches. First I cut out 2 Real Red hearts with the Petal Cone die (121810) and then stamped the hearts from the Love You Much stamp set (113756) in real red ink for a subtle background. Love that set, it is super cute and can be used year round. Not just for Valentines. Next I cut a Scallop Circle out of Real red DSP (117155) using the large scallop on the Scallop Circle #2 Die (113469) and My Big Shot. Other Supplies Used: 1 3/4 circle punch (119850), Decorative Label Punch (120907), 3/4" x 15/16" oval punch (120908), Glimmer paper (121790), Small Heart (117193), and the cutest part... Love Impressions Rub-Ons (121886). Stampin' Up! was so sweet and sent Demonstrators a sheet for Valentine's with our orders. (Another Perk of being a Demonstrator, they spoil us!!) I'm not sure why I don't use our Rub-Ons more often. They are so easy to use and so stinking Cute!

Valentine Treats

These are the Valentine's the girls made for their classmates this year. They helped me punch and stamp until they got tired. I finished them up. The matchbook treats were pretty easy to make and I was able to get 4 treats out of each sheet of cardstock. Let me know if you'd like the dimensions.

The heart shaped treat was for the girls teachers. I used the new Petal Die and the big shot to cut out 2 hearts. I used sticky strip to hold the sides together, I love that stuff!! It was actually pretty simple to put together too. It holds a medium cello bag full of chocolates. I made some of these treat holders for the girls gifts to. I'll try to post those later.

Sale-a-Bration Super Marker Club

Sale-a-Bration Super Marker Club
February – March 2011
Markers and FREE Stamp sets!

I thought during Sale-a-Bration (SAB) it would be a wonderful opportunity to purchase the Many Marvelous Markers and get 2 Free stamp sets! I love the markers... and I’ll bet if you’ve used them, you do too! But at $109.95, I know that they can be an expensive purchase all at once! So, to help with that during SAB, I’m starting a Super marker club...here’s how it will work: Two people join the club... I will order the markers plus your choice of SAB item each month and split the box of markers.

At the end of 2 months you will have: 38 markers plus the nice box to store them in and 2 Free SAB items.

Sound good? The cost will be $66 per month (this includes taxes and shipping for pickup only, contact me if you will need me to ship yours to you). Your payment & choice of SAB item will be due no later than the 15th of each month. Contact me today if you want a spot in the club! Club Starts Feb 15th! (This is only a 2-month commitment)

P.S. If you don’t want to be part of the club you can order the markers (119806), collect 2 Sale-a-Bration sets and I will ship them directly to you!

P.S.S. Know someone else that wants to be part of the club in your area? Your orders could be shipped to you!

*******
If you Purchased the marker box before the Color Renovation you can purchase just the new marker colors to change your box over to current colors in the New Marker kit for $35.95. Save $9.55 by purchasing the new colors this way. You will also receive a new insert for your box. Click here for all the details.

Punch Bunch

According to Stampin' Up! Punch Bunch is the most popular Sale-a-Bration set. I can see how. It is so easy to use. Just stamp your image and punch it out! For my card today I wanted to use the "true friend" image from the Punch Bunch set and showcase the In Colors. I used the designer paper out of the level one host pack. If you don't have the level one host DSP you could use any of the patterns paper packs (pg 175 on Idea Book) to achieve the same look. I just stamped the image on each color sheet of cardstock and punched them out with the 1" circle punch (item # 119868).

Did you know that you could earn the Punch Bunch stamp set for free by purchasing 3 of the $16.95 matching punches? The matching $16.95 punches are: Two-Step Owl (118074), Scallop Square (119884), 1-3/4 Scallop Circle (119854). You can place your order now to earn this set by clicking here.

This is one of the cards my Stampers club will be making next Thursday. If you would like to join us and need more information please let me know.
