It's Sew Sweet!

The oh Sew Suite collection made me giddy from the first moment I saw it. I just loved it all and had to have it! I have to admit it's been collecting a little dust and I had to remedy that before the catalog expired at the end of the month. What do you think?

Pretty Cute huh? The flower is cut from the paper packaging in Stampin' Up! orders with the Fun Flowers Die (121812) and then stamped with Pattern Pieces (122230) stamp. I think the origanal idea came from Jackie Topa (have to give credit where credit is due!) The little button in the middle of the
flower is from the Sweet Buttons Embosslit (121813). Other supplies used: Sweet Stitches DSP (121781), Timeless Type Junior alphabet sizzlets Die (115951), Fabulous Phrases (117002 w, 120501 c), Jewelry Tag Punch (117190)

This is Andrea's card from Club Class Thursday Night. She used the sewing machine side of her DSP. That's the only down side to Stampin' Up!'s Designer paper.... I sometimes have a hard time deciding which side to use. :)

Make sure you check back tomorrow for another card from class.

Will it stay or will it go?

That is the big question! The Seam binding ribbon is not in the Summer Mini catalog. I have my fingers crossed that it will be in the new Idea Book & Catalog in July, but just in case I'm stocking up now and you can to by joining my ribbon share. I love this ribbon! Bingo part 2

As promised here is what the bingo card looks like all stamped. We used the Every Little Bit stamp set(#117096 w, #120558 c). We didn't color in the images, but you could if you wanted. I didn't really care for this set at first, but the more I play with it the more possibilities I see. I'm sure I will be using it to stamp inserts for my girls simply adorned charms. The Bingo Background stamp is not currently available (watch for it in the New Idea Book & Catalog coming in July) However the Bingo Card Stamp Brush Set (122182) For My Digital Studio is available to Download for only $1.95. That is what I used. Pretty good deal! My girls have been having lots of fun play Bingo too!

This is the card we made last night. It is the same card we made at leadership in January.

We also made a brooch very similar to the one we made at leadership. I changed it a little, but not much. So what do you think? Would you like to attend a Bingo night?

Saturday, March 5, 2011

BINGO!!!

Tonight was my Bingo Night event and I think it was a hit. Here is a picture of the Bingo cards before everyone stamped their cards. I forgot to get a picture of them after the images were added.. ARG, but I think they turned out super cute. (I did stamp one for myself so I'll try to take a picture later.) I let everyone make their own card.) That way I wasn't responsible if the card they had wasn't the best winner. :) Everyone also received 1/2 a pack of big buttons to use as covers.

Here is the loot they were playing for. I think I gave away over $90 in goodies. If you couldn't make it tonight, so sorry you missed out!

Hubby called the bingo for us and I was so glad he did. I do believe he enjoyed it! I even played a few games myself, but not to win any of the prizes I just wanted to play. I love Bingo!!

We also had some pretty cool Make-n-Takes that I'll share tomorrow so make sure you come back to check it out.

Year in a Day Sneak Peak and Bliss

I love the Sale-a-Bration Bliss Set!! I know i say I love every set, I can't help it... They are all Fabulous! Back to the card details.

I stamped the pretty Filigree image on Crumb Cake Cardstock with my White Craft ink and set it aside to dry. Then I stamped the butterfly in Baja Breeze classic ink on vanilla cardstock, cut her out and added some Basic Pearls (119247) for her body. The DSP is is from the Occasions Mini and is FABULOUS! (did you hear me sing that?) It is called First Edition (121878) and is a lighter weight than normal DSP. It's also a great deal, 24 Sheets for $11.95! Before I added it to my crumb cake base I tore the edge
of my First Edition DSP and inked the torn edge with Baja ink. Next was the Baja Breeze Glass Glitter (121883) for a little bling. Easiest way to add the glass glitter is with Tombow glue (110755). I also used the new Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon (122331). To get the gathered detail just lay a strip of Stick strip (104294) down and press your ribbon into the sticky strip as your gather it. Oh so pretty!! For some final details I added a Clear Bitty Button (118761) on top of the ribbon with a Linen Thread Bow. (104199). Note: to make the button Stand out use the matching punch (118309) to punch a vanilla backing.
Let me know what you think of the card by leaving me a comment. I'll draw a name on Monday and send the winner the card. :)
At Stampin' Up! Leadership in January I saw several Scrapbook layouts using the Bliss set that I will defiantly be CASEing (Copy and Share Everything).

I have been busy, busy working on the pages for the upcoming Year in a day class. Here is a sneak peak at the Family page. For more details on the Year in a Day Scrap class click here.

Girls Valentine's Pouch, Blog candy winner, & Bingo Night Reminder

As promised here is the Valentine's pouch I made for the girls (sorry I'm late). They both looked very similar so I only took a picture of one. I used lots of yummy supplies for their pouches. First I cut out 2 Real Red hearts with the Petal Cone die (121810) and then stamped the hearts from the Love You Much stamp set (113756) in real red ink for a subtle background. Love that set, it is super cute and can be used year round. Not just for Valentines. Next I cut a Scallop Circle out of Real red DSP (117155) using the large scallop on the Scallop Circle #2 Die (113469) and My Big Shot. Other Supplies Used: 1 3/4 circle punch (119850), Decorative Label Punch (120907), 3/4" x 15/16" oval punch (120908), Glimmer paper (121790), Small Heart (117193), and the cutest part... Love Impressions Rub-Ons (121886). Stampin' Up! was so sweet and sent Demonstrators a sheet for Valentine's with our orders. (Another Perk of being a Demonstrator, they spoil us!!) I'm not sure why I don't use our Rub-Ons more often. They are so easy to use and so stinking Cute!

Valentine Treats

These are the Valentine's the girls made for their classmates this year. They helped me punch and stamp until they got tired. I finished them up. The matchbook treats were pretty easy to make and I was able to get 4 treats out of each sheet of cardstock. Let me know if you'd like the dimensions.

The heart shaped treat was for the girls teachers. I used the new Petal Die and the big shot to cut out 2 hearts. I used sticky strip to hold the sides together, I love that stuff!! It was actually pretty simple to put together too. It holds a medium cello bag full of chocolates. I made some of these treat holders for the girls gifts to. I'll try to post those later.
